About Quinns Rocks
Situated 37 kilometers from central Quinns Rocks, Quinns Rocks is a suburb that has grown from a holiday village to a well-established community. It continues to attract visitors due to its resort ambience and its range of activities such as fishing, boating, surfing, diving and snorkeling. Plenty of shipwreck sites off the coast beckon diving hobbyists to Quinns Rocks, which is named after the surveyor Robert Quin.

Residential areas in the community are focused on two points, the old Quinns behind the beachfront and Norfolk Estate found within the suburb. Quinns Beach is highly developed, taking inspirations from another beach-side suburb to the south, Mindarie.

Two-storey homes with ocean views are found along the coast. Needless to say, real estate for both suburbs entails considerable costs. Quinns is only a 5-minute drive to Mindarie's marina. Accommodations such as a caravan park, bed and breakfast inns and a budget hotel are also found within the suburb.

Quinns Rocks has a retail center that offers a supermarket, post office, pharmacy, hardware shop and other stores. There are medical facilities nearby as well. Gunblossom Park presents more leisurely options with its sporting clubs, community hall and bowling alley.

The suburb finds easy access to its neighbours Clarkson and Mindarie. This is essentially helpful as these three communities co-exist and share facilities like schools and leisure centers. Quinns Rocks only has three academic institutions, one of which is privately run Quinns Baptist College catering to children up to secondary level. Quinns Beach Primary School and Quinns Rocks Primary School are operated by the government. There are more private schools in Clarkson and Mindarie.
