Named Padbury in 1971, after pastoralist and philanthropist Walter Padbury who was the first landholder in the area, this well established suburb can be found 18km from Padbury's city centre, east of Marmion Ave and West of the Mitchell Freeway and surround by both Whitfords Avenue and Hepburn Avenue.
Padbury for those who know it can be separated almost to two suburbs with Hepburn Heights, housing newer homes being considered a suburb in its own right. Pinnaroo Heights is located west of the Hepburn Heights area.
Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park is considered to be one of the world's most environmentally sensitive cemeteries. Located off Whitfords Avenue or Gibson Avenue, the Park represents authentic Australian bushland with hundreds of varieties of flora and fauna.
McDonald Reserve, which is on the corner of Marmion Avenue and Giles Avenue is home to the Wild Cats Junior Football Club and the Whitfords Hockey Club is just one of the many parks found in Padbury.
There are five education facilities that school the kids of Padbury. Padbury Primary School can be found on McDonald Avenue, South Padbury Primary is located on Warburton Avenue, Padbury Catholic School can be found on O'Leary Road and Padbury Senior High School is situated on Giles Avenue.
You'll find Craigie to the north, Kingsley east, Duncraig south and Hillarys to the west.
