Craigie borders on Whitfords Avenue and the Mitchell Freeway, it is east of Marmion Avenue and finishes at Craigie Drive and is one of the four "Whitfords" suburbs that resulted from the State Government rezoning a large area of coastal land for development in 1969 and is 20km from Craigie's city centre.

Craigie Leisure Centre which can be found on Whitfords Avenue, has all the recreational facilities you could ever need;

Whitford Catholic Primary School on Camberwarra Drive and Craigie Primary & Pre Primary is located on Spinaway Street school the children of Craigie. Craigie Senior High School was demolished about 5 years ago, children attending the school and in the area now, either attend or were moved to Belridge or Padbury Senior High Schools.
